Steve Tiller grew up in Atlanta and attended Sandy Springs High School. He graduated from the University of Georgia. He has three children whom he loves greatly – Ben, Katie, and Rachel.
If God keeps a list of the TOP 10 Mistakes You Can Make in a Lifetime- Steve has made them all. He learned an important thing about failure… you can learn life lessons that can’t be learned from success.
You learn perseverance and courage. You develop a faith that works in the worst times of life as well as the best. You learn tolerance and compassion. You learn that service and selflessness is the highest expression of self-interest.
Somewhere around 2001 Steve was in a bookstore looking for books that could say something positive about life to his kids. He couldn’t find one. They had lots of books, most of them about rude children or dogs with gas, which, frankly for all the press, were not even very funny – and certainly had nothing positive to teach a child about life. Where did the heroes go in America?
Right Stuff Kids Books came from a simple question- “Got a children’s book that builds you up?”
Steve writes engaging stories with electric illustrations and meaningful messages about some of the most important lessons in life such as faith, hope, friendship, joy, and courage.
